Don’t be the one talking. Be the one the
others are discussing.
Paying attention to nonsense can stop
you from what you need to be doing.
You can walk into a room of highly
excited people having a very animated
conversation.
As soon as you are viewed, the
conversation stops.
You get almost hateful looks from some
in the room.
You have not yet opened your mouth.
You are smiling.
Yet, the looks?
If this is your circumstance, why own
someone else’s angst?
Most make judgments about character
over time and with experience.
If an assessment can be made in one
look and without experience, without
listening to words, you cannot afford
to inherit someone else’s insecurities.
Let them talk, do not be the one talking,
you have things to do.
